WhatsApp Us Your QuestionAbout Apex Landscape Works
How long has Apex Landscape Works operated in Dubai?
Since 2015 — over 10 years, with 500+ completed projects across residential villas and select commercial properties.
Do you use subcontractors?
No. Our direct team handles your project from consultation through to handover — we don't pass jobs down a subcontractor chain.
Do you work with commercial clients, or only villas?
Our primary focus is residential villas, and we take on select commercial projects — offices, hotels, restaurants, and HOA-managed common areas — when clients reach out directly.
Do you handle HOA and Dubai Municipality approvals?
Yes, where required — including HOA approval for structural changes and Dubai Municipality NOCs for protected tree work.
What areas do you serve?
All major Dubai communities — Arabian Ranches, Dubai Hills Estate, DAMAC Hills, DAMAC Hills 2, Jebel Ali Village, Mudon, The Springs, The Meadows — plus Sharjah and Abu Dhabi. If your community isn't listed, message us on WhatsApp to confirm coverage.
Do you handle NOCs for Emaar, Nakheel, or DAMAC communities?
Yes — we manage the required developer NOC submission through your community's portal (Emaar, Nakheel, DAMAC, Dubai Hills) for tree removal and garden modifications. We don't handle Dubai Municipality-regulated approvals or protected tree removal, such as the Ghaf tree — but we remove all other tree types across any Dubai area, including locations that require no NOC at all.
Villa, Hard & Soft Landscaping
What's the difference between hard and soft landscaping?
Hard landscaping covers non-living structural elements — tiling, pergolas, interlock, walls. Soft landscaping covers living elements — plants, trees, lawn, hedges. Most villa projects need both.
How much does outdoor tiling cost in Dubai?
In Dubai, from AED 130 per sqm installed, depending on tile size and site preparation required.
How much does interlock or paver installation cost?
In Dubai, from AED 75 per sqm for new installation. Repairs range from AED 800 (small) to AED 3,000+ (large), depending on area.
How much does a pergola cost in Dubai?
In Dubai, pergola cost is from AED 15,000 to AED 20,000 and above, depending on size, material — timber (i.e. Red Meranti wood) or aluminium — and roofing type, as well as location.
What is heel kerbstone, and why would I use it?
A low-profile concrete edging unit used to border driveways, pathways, and planter beds — a genuinely cheaper alternative to a full raised planter wall.
Why do plants keep dying in my Dubai garden?
Usually one of three causes: the wrong plant species for the heat and soil, poor soil preparation before planting, or irrigation that doesn't match what's actually been planted.
Which plants do you recommend for a low-maintenance Dubai garden?
Bougainvillea, lantana, desert rose, and Ghaf trees are all genuinely drought-tolerant and low-maintenance once established, while still providing real colour and shade.
Natural & Artificial Grass
Should I choose natural grass or artificial grass?
Natural grass gives a genuinely cool, living lawn feel but needs regular watering and mowing. Artificial grass needs almost no maintenance and stays green year-round. We advise on the right choice during your free site visit.
Which is better for Dubai — Bermuda or Paspalum grass?
In Dubai, Bermuda grass (Cynodon dactylon), locally known as American Grass, is best for open, sunny lawn areas with high foot traffic. Paspalum grass (Paspalum vaginatum), locally known as Sharjah Grass, performs better in shaded or moist areas and tolerates saline irrigation water far better. We advise on the best choice during your free site visit.
How much does natural grass installation cost?
In Dubai, natural grass installation typically costs from AED 35 to AED 45 per sqm fully installed — but the exact price depends on the scope of work. Basic installation on prepared ground starts at the lower end, while jobs requiring removal of existing grass, additional soil preparation, and adding sweet soil or compost mix for proper root establishment cost more, toward the higher end or above. Final pricing is confirmed after a free site visit based on your garden’s actual condition.
How much does artificial grass cost in Dubai?
In Dubai, Standard-grade turf starts from AED 48 per sqm fully installed. Small areas from AED 1,500. Premium and luxury turf pricing depends on pile height and colour style and site condition as well as ground, more filling or removing sand increase price.
What is monofilament yarn?
Individual, smooth blade fibres rather than older net-like fibrillated yarn — it looks and feels more like real grass and is the standard for realistic residential turf.
How long does artificial grass last?
With proper installation and normal use, quality artificial grass lasts 10 to 15 years or more in Dubai's climate.
Is artificial grass safe for kids and pets?
Yes. Our turf is non-toxic, soft underfoot, and has a perforated backing with drainage holes that prevents pet odour build-up and water pooling.
Irrigation
How much does irrigation cost in Dubai?
Sprinkler heads from AED 50 each, drip emitters from AED 100 per 100 plus AED 300 site visit, full inspection AED 500, full system overhaul AED 2,000–5,000.
Do you install or check irrigation as part of grass or planting work?
Yes. Irrigation assessment is part of every natural grass or soft landscaping project — if your system needs repair or new zones, we quote it together in one visit.
What irrigation brands do you work with?
Hunter and Rain Bird controllers and components, alongside standard UPVC piping for Dubai villa systems.
Tree Removal & Relocation
How much does tree removal cost in Dubai?
In Dubai, tree removal starts from AED 1,200 for small trees under 3 metres. Medium trees (3-5 metres) from AED 2,000. Large trees above 5 metres from AED 3,000. Stump and root extraction charged additionally from AED 600 to AED 1,500. Final price confirmed after site assessment.
Do I need a permit to remove a tree in Dubai?
Damas trees do not require a permit — Dubai Municipality actively encourages their removal. Protected trees including the Ghaf tree and mature Date Palms require formal approval, with unauthorized removal carrying fines starting at AED 10,000.
Will a Damas tree grow back if I just cut it down?
Yes, if the stump is left untreated it can resprout aggressively within weeks. We include stump treatment and root extraction to 40cm depth to prevent regrowth.
Why would I need to remove a healthy-looking palm tree?
The most common reason is Red Palm Weevil infestation, often not visible until significant internal damage has occurred. Other reasons include wrong location, root damage to structures, or site redesign.
Do you transport or relocate trees instead of cutting them down?
Yes. We offer tree and palm transportation and relocation for trees that can be safely moved rather than removed, including road permits for oversized loads where required.
Maintenance & Garden Health
How much does landscape maintenance cost in Dubai?
In Dubai, landscape maintenance starts from AED 300/month for small gardens to AED 900+/month for large villa gardens, depending on size and visit frequency. Per-visit service from AED 250.
How often should my garden be maintained?
Most villa gardens benefit from weekly to bi-weekly visits in summer (May-September) and monthly visits in cooler months, depending on garden size and planting.
Do you maintain both natural and artificial grass?
Yes — natural grass needs mowing, fertilising, and aeration, while artificial grass needs regular brushing and rinsing. We handle both as part of your maintenance plan.
Are you a licensed pest control company?
No. Apex Landscape Works is a landscaping and garden maintenance company. Our role is plant health monitoring and prevention through good garden care — we connect you with a licensed Dubai Municipality approved partner for anything needing treatment.
Can you help prevent pest problems without chemicals?
Yes — correct watering, pruning, plant spacing, and removing affected material are genuinely effective prevention methods, and it's what we focus on as a landscaping company.
Getting Started
How do I get a quote?
Send a few photos of your garden on WhatsApp along with your community/area. We typically respond within the hour with next steps for a free site visit and written quotation.
Is the site visit really free?
Yes, every project includes a free site visit to confirm exact pricing before any work begins — no obligation to proceed afterward.
Can I combine multiple services in one project?
Yes — most villa garden projects combine several services (for example, grass installation plus irrigation, or hard and soft landscaping together) under one coordinated contract.
Do you provide a warranty on your work?
Workmanship quality and any aplicable coverage are discussed openly during your free site visit and confirmed in writing as part of your project quotation - every job is diffrent, so we prefer to be specific to your actual scope of work rather than quote a generic policy.
